A plain colorway with a name and number sits at the simpler end. Complex badge work, embroidery, and unusual fabric specifications push toward the upper end. Here is how the main factors break down:
Badge work is the single biggest variable. A simple badge with two or three colours and clean lines is straightforward to reproduce. A detailed heraldic crest with many colours and fine lines takes longer to make and costs more.
Embroidery vs. heat press. Embroidery lasts longer and looks better in person. It also costs more than heat-pressed work. For a shirt you plan to keep and wear for years, embroidery is worth the difference. If you need something quickly at a lower price, heat press is the alternative.
Fabric choice. Standard polyester, the fabric most match shirts use, is the baseline. Breathable mesh, used in professional kit, costs more. Retro-style heavier weaves cost more again.
Detail complexity. Contrast panels on the sleeves, piping along the collar, a button-down polo neck: each adds time to the make, and time is what you are paying for.
How this compares to mass-produced options
You can buy a name-and-number shirt from a mass-market site for 30 to 50 euros. That shirt is printed on stock fabric, on a stock cut, with a stock font. There is no adjustment for your proportions, and no guarantee it looks like the reference image you uploaded rather than a rough approximation of it.
At 100 to 200 euros, you are paying for three things: the time a person spent making your shirt, quality materials, and the specificity of the result. The badge is where you wanted it. The colorway is what you described. The fit is adjusted to your body rather than a generic size chart.
The longevity argument matters. Heat-pressed numbers on cheap polyester peel after a season or two of washing. Proper stitching on quality fabric holds for years. Spread the cost over the shirt's life and the premium narrows considerably.
